I get asked this all the time by friends, family members, and people who are new to spirit contact!
I will tell you the simple answer is sometimes, but not like I was 10 years ago.
10 years ago the old house where I started to realize something unseen was affecting me was terrifying. I had no idea what was going on other than I was experiencing something real. The unknown. That was truly scary.
But now I know ghosts and spirits are REAL! AND I can communicate with them! Knowing this, I have a better understanding of what the spirit world feels like, how to communicate with them, AND that I can set boundaries! The unknown is now more known, which takes a lot of the fear away.
There are entities that like to make people feel fear, pain, and sickness. But you can tell the difference between those entities and the entities that make you feel loved, happy, and light. You don’t have to communicate with the ones that make you uncomfortable, you can tell them to stop, or you can physically leave the area.
Many times I have had to ask spirit to stop sending me their pain signal because I got the message. And they stop.
Another way I think about it, is earth bound spirits and non earth bound spirits are generally a reflection of lives lived on earth. The truly bad people on earth make up like 1% (just making this up) of the actual living population. Then there are the people in our population who are truly wonderful angels walking on our earth, which make up lets say another 1% of our population. The other 98% of the population range somewhere in between those two extremes. The same concept carries over and applies to spirits. Those I contact are somewhere in-between those ranges of terrible and perfection and rarely do I encounter the extremes.
That all being said, I am careful and I do set boundaries for myself and my husband during a Walkthrough. I also ask permission of the location prior to opening up my intention to receive what is there. If I am not comfortable, I stop. I am not going out and seeking the negative entities. Some people do this and only intend to experience them. My intention is to act as a respectful witness to report my experience of what is present at a location and report the information I receive.
