Location #8 Investigation Reveal – Split Rock Reservoir, Rockaway Township, NJ

This video is the Location #8 Investigation Reveal from our location Walkthrough in December 2020. I found information about the historical timeline and appearance of the reservoir from Native American Lenape fishing camps to today. I also talk about the Ogden and Cobb families in relation to the Iron Furnaces and land ownership.

There were actually three tragic murders in the 1970s (1974, 1976, 1977) that happened at the reservoir and multiple drownings. The most recent drowning was a man in 2018. My deepest sympathies to family, friends and the communities for these untimely losses of life.
